Tracy is a small pink African-Caribbean 6-year-old jet plane and the deuteragonist of the Jay Jay the Jet Plane franchise. She is Jay Jay's best friend.
Bio
Jay Jay's best friend (and female counterpart) is Tracy, a young girl jet (also about 6 years old and in first grade), who is just as spirited and inquisitive as Jay Jay. Tracy is truly gifted as a flyer, having already competed in flying contests against the very best in her age group. She is also good at understanding the American Sign Language. Articulate and funny, she is rapidly growing politeness and her way to go along with her considerable talents.
Basis
She appears to be based on an Airbus A318, like her best friend.

"I'm Tracy and I'm a six-year-old girl jet. Jay Jay is my best friend, and I like to fly everywhere. Sometimes I even enter flying contests."
Appearance
Tracy has Afrocentric features. She is tan-skinned with brown eyes. She is half-painted with bright purple and fuchsia and has two yellow stripes on either side of her roof. Her streams are red and outlined with yellow circles. Her wheels are white and partially hidden by semicircular wheel flaps. In the model series, Tracy is Caucasian (white) and pale-skinned, her paintwork was royal purple and she had similar black wheels to Jay Jay's. In the revival, she has bangs and freckles, adding windows to resemble an actual plane with a pastel pink color. She also has violet eyes.

- In the TLC era episodes, her voice is deeper and she sounded older.
- Since the PBS Kids era, Tracy's voice is much higher-pitched and has a younger and cuter tone to match with her apparent age.
- When voiced by Sandy Fox (credited as Marie Danielle), she sounds very much like Lily from LeapFrog (same company as Porchlight Entertainment), Connie from MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death, Kate in PlayKids and Mao Onigawara from Mao-Chan, four characters she has voiced.
- In both model and main series, the music that accompanies Tracy's appearance is played by the flute.
- As shown in "Tracy's Song", her inspirational hero is Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
- In "Tracy's Candy Catastrophe", it is shown that she loves eating candy, but then gets a stomachache from doing so.
- She is six years old in the actual show meaning that she was born in 1992 like Jay Jay.
