Tuffy is the cousin of Revvin' Evan who is a confidential blue and orange tow truck.

Bio

Tuffy is full of confidence, and she never gives up, no matter how heavy her load might be. No matter what problem confronts her, she is always ready to tackle it. Tuffy is Revvin' Evan's cousin and it's easy to see how an overpowering abundance of energy and drive runs in the family. But, due to her diminutive size, she actually has a lot of trouble towing things like planes and trucks -- anything bigger than she is, but that doesn't stop her from trying. She never gives up, no matter what happens.

Appearance

Tuffy has Asian features. She is painted orange with blue fenders and accents, orange wheel arches on her back fenders, a yellow bumper with grey arrows, a melon hood, and two orange accents with pink headlights holding the bumper. she also has a red siren, two yellow sirens, and white whitewall wheels with red lines around them.

The music that accompanies Tuffy's appearance is played by the harmonica and the mute trumpet.

Trivia

She is voiced by Marie Danielle, who also does Tracy and Snuffy.
She speaks with a speech impediment, which is a difficulty of producing r sounds in her speaking, having them sound as w (e.g. "I'm Tuffy the Tow Twuck!"); this might imply she's a bit younger than Snuffy (basically 3-and-a-half years old).
She shares the same name as Tuffy Mouse (Nibbles Mouse) from the Tom and Jerry franchise.
Her name has the same ending syllable ("-uffy") and rhymes with Snuffy's name.
Her speech is similar to that of Ming-Ming Duckling from Wonder Pets!
Like Herky, she has speech impediment like Droopy Dog, Elmer Fudd from Looney Tunes and Astro from The Jetsons and Astro and the Space Mutts, as well as Baby Bear from Sesame Street, Junior from George Shrinks, and Glendalf from Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman.
Tuffy is the first character to be introduced in the 21st century.
She has only flown three times on her cousin Revvin' Evan's hot air balloon.
- She flew on it in Tuffy's Trip to Pangabula, Tuffy's Adventure in Pangabula and Jay Jay's Winter Parade.
Tuffy is the only character not to appear in the TLC era (not counting the Jay Jay's Mysteries characters).
If one counts Snuffy, Tuffy is the youngest out of all the vehicle characters.
She has never interacted with Herky and Savannah.
According to the DVD, "School Is Cool!," in the episode "The Counting Game," when Jay Jay, Herky, and Tracy find two things that are the same, the closed captions misspell her name as "Toughie", but it's really spelled "Tuffy" (T, U, double F, Y). This is most likely a spelling error.
It is unknown if Tuffy will return in The New World of Jay Jay the Jet Plane.
She is the only truck character to have visible headlights.
